Niedax is a privately owned company established in 1920 by two German engineers. Alexander NIEdergesäß and Fritz AXthelm saw the rising demand for electricity and consequently set their focus on manufacturing electrical installation material.

Today the NIEDAX GROUP with it's subsidiaries in 22 countries is one of the largest cable tray manufactures in the world and stands for excellent quality and service.

Niedax's headquarters are based in Linz / Germany. The close by main production plant is located on 2 million square feet in the industrial area of St.Katharinen. Niedax has production facilities and subsidiaries around the globe, the latest addition being Niedax do Brasil.

Our main factory in St. Katharinen has a daily output capacity of 45000 meters of cable tray and 5000 meters of cable ladder. Niedax and it's daughter companies are DIN ISO 9001:2000 certified. All of our tray products are manufactured and tested according to DIN IEC 61537, are UL/CSA classified and ROHS compliant. Most of them have GOST and ABS approval as well.
